Vinspiration – Reuse cooked shrimp tails for arts and crafts?

Shimmering shrimp-tail butterflies! From the pages of McCalls Crafts and Needlework:

“Cut off about 1″ of cooked shrimp tail; split shell carefully; clean; spread flat to dry. Paint gold or silver; sprinkle on glitter; let dry. Glue on 3/4″ pieces of nylon fishline for feelers, seed beads for eyes. Glue sequins, seed beads, on wing tips.” – Lucille
