I made Smitten Kitchen’s Breakfast Apple Granola Crisp. Verdict: Tasty. Would be even tastier with a huge dollop of Liberte Mediterraine yogurt.

I watched the 30Rock live episode – Jack knits! They did a great job, but remember when taping shows live was the norm, and not the exception? Also: need to see if the Carol Burnett Show is on the Youtubes.

I’m finishing up my second attempt at the Cash Money wallet. The first one I started by hand and eventually gave up on. Some things do not need to be sewn by hand, people.

I bought teeny, tiny brussel sprouts at the EffinV. No idea how to cook them though. Lu has suggested “pasta and brussel sprouts”. I’m doubtful if following Fancy Nancy in the kitchen is a good idea. Other suggestions?

I usually just boil mine until almost done then toss them around in a hot pan of butter and salt and pepper for a bit to finish them off. simple yet oh so yummy.

Oh..and yes, you can find some Carol Burnett skits on YouTube, but I dont’ think they have complete episodes.

I’ve done fun brussels by turning them into their component leaves and sauteing with onions and bacon. With cute ones you’d loose some of cute tho… so maybe it’s for next time if you get monster ones.
