Vinspiration – The Last Straw

Mrs. Harold Meyer was willing to tolerate the raucous singing at all hours from the “groovy” Italian friend who was bunking in the rec room. Mrs. Meyer was even willing to accept Joan from next day and her gay divorcee attitudes. But when her daughter-in-law insisted that the little rat wear the sweater she made with her own two hands for the grandson it seemed like she would never get, well.

There would be Whigs on the green.
